Works of art: a guessing game
April:
The French pupils, who work in pairs, choose a famous work of art on the website of one of the three following Parisian museums: the Louvre, Orsay or Beaubourg. They select an easily recognizable fragment of it, which they keep as a starting point and then create a new image around it. To do this, they can use whatever technique they want (drawings, photographs, collages, animation …). They also give a title to the new image. As far as the artist in concerned, they write five clues in English. Our Spanish friends will have to visit the websites (which offer English versions) and find out in which museum the original works of art are, their titles and the names of the artists.
